Philthy Rich & Freddie B: "Shes The One 4 Me"
Mr. Sem City drops himself a little hood love number with some smooth crooning on the hook. The song sounds nice, but unfortunately it falls into the trappings of most "girl/love" rap records in that it's fairly misogynistic and shallow. When will we learn that a laid back beat, sexual overtures and a little singing do not alone make a love song. Most of us have had respectful intimate interactions and real relationships, so why can't we be real and share them?DL: "She's The One 4 me"- Philthy Rich & Freddie B
This critique is in no way specific to Rich, Clyde or anyone else, but I'm kinda over the "I got money and swag and you have a tongue ring, a big ass, and a weakness for my stuntasticness, therefore Ima tear that ass up before promptly keeping it pushing to the next" premise.
Check out this joint by Do DAT of Oakland's The Attik for a rather refreshing take on the start of a fling/relationship. I know the former scenario happens all the time, but its nice to respect women and/or fuck with respectable women every once in awhile too. *Crusade over*

Philthy Rich feat. Keak Da Sneak & Stevie Joe
"Teeth 2 Feet" is a new joint from Philthy Rich, Keak da Sneak and Stevie Joe and I can't front, this shit slaps. Pump this in the whip if you are so blessed; otherwise do so on the bus or train. Don't be ashamed, it's a recession family.

"My Two Sons" Video- Philthy Rich
Philthy Rich - My Two Sons from In Yo FACE Filmworks on Vimeo.
This can't help but touch you. This is, East Oakland rapper, Philthy Rich's apologetic tribute to his two young sons. He wrote this song while serving a sentence at Santa Rita. Rap too often portrays prison time out to be a glorious badge of honor, but Rich's sentiments here illustrate the other side of that coin. I won't hop on my soap box though, I'll just let Rich tell his story. Please count and protect your blessings.
