This is not the first time we are showcasing the work of Bobby Brackins, but to say that his recent success is a little bit of a surprise to me, would be an understatement. I sometimes find myself wondering how a rapper with such an "annoying drawl and a caterpillar on his lip" (Coolhand's words) has gotten the recognition he has, but I give him props for constantly being on the grind.
It took me a little while to jump on his newest single "143" featuring Ray J, but once I got it on my Ipod it was tough not to play it. It's a catchy club record that Wild 94.9 has made sure to put in heavy rotation. I promise that this song will get you off your feet in the club and make you search through your phone to find someone to text 143 to. Our first video below is of Bobby performing at The New Parrish in Oakland, and the second is a behind the scenes look at the making of his "143" music video, which should be out very soon.
