Apparently the Montclarion reported that 7 of the 10 Oakand Police Officers who were falsifying search warrants have been allowed to return to work. But don't take my word for it. Oakland Watch dog Davey D tweets:
I'm not sure whether to blame this one on the usual "cops get away with everything" line of reasoning or the fact that the department is a bit shorthanded since the Lovelle Mixon fiasco. Either way, I'm sick and tired of police the world over getting over. Yes there are good cops and all that jazz, but as an institution, the police are fucking grimey and OPD is a head above the competition in that respect.

Man, OPD is really up there with the bullshit. LAPD and NYPD seem like the worst, but shit..this makes me sick...
OPD are a mess. NYPD and LAPD are mad dirty but are larger organizations and actually solve crimes. OPD solves barely a quarter of their homicides, virtually none of their property crimes, and they f~ck with folk like it's their job. Remember that public strip search business...
