Music: Lyrics Born: "Something Better"

While FAB gave us the reality of what is going on around us in his video "Get Away," Lyrics Born attempts to paint a different picture using the same canvas. Talking about the beauty that is possible by staying true to yourself and listening to your intuition is how Lyrics Born crafts the song "Something Better."

Although it took me a long time to grow accustomed to Lyrics style back in the day, he has managed to grow on me through this track, as well as his unusual collaboration called "Block Bots" featuring Clyde Carson and Trackademicks. The way that he melds reality with what he hopes for in the future is what makes you feel hopeful after listening to this track. By getting away, as FAB says, or by putting your head down and working hard, something better is always out there for our city and as individuals.

This was a tough week for the 38thNotes family, but hopefully this song can inspire a change and help us remember that beauty is always around the corner. Enjoi
