So, the season has not started off splendidly for the Warriors. In fact the win column has been somewhat barren since Baron departed and Monta injured himself scootering or po-go sticking or whatever the hell he was doing. Nonetheless, there have been some bright spots for the 4-6 Warriors. Case in point: the previously anonymous Anthony Morrow who went off for 37 the other night versus the hapless Clippers in his first ever NBA start. I won't indulge in too much cliché verbiage about the rise of the young gun with dumb-ass stroke, but here are the highlights and a post game interview. Cuzzin goes to work.
As we are still early in the year, dudes like Morrow can rev up that underdog Oakland mentality. And once Monta comes back and takes the healm, I think we may be able to make a run man. Below, Warrior faithful and courtside fixture, Mistah FAB offers his thoughts on the season.
And just because Matt Barnes is a sav and a Warrior at heart, here is the skirmish he instigated the other night. Excuse the blind Rocket announcers who seem to think 1. Steve Nash somehow escalated the situation when he was blatantly pushed by T-Mac and 2. That McGrady wasn't bowled over by Shaq, but instead restrained by Yao. Sure. Either way I love a good fight, flawed though I may be for that appreciation.
