Sometimes when one of your favorite artists stops releasing music for awhile, you wonder if he is changing his sound and finding a new niche. Luckily this has not been the case for Clyde Carson. It would seem that Theatre Music has been shelved or scrapped given that his most recent releases are from a project entitled Something To Speak About, but that's just conjecture at this point. Either way, he's back and sounding ready to finally step into the national limelight.
All three songs we've have heard of late have been classic Clyde. A little bit of swagger, "Save Me," along with some laid-back cool shit, "Somethin' To Speak About" and "What Would I Do." As a local fan, I would love to see a mixtape with Clyde and J.Stalin since they both love those smooth old school beats, but offer different content. For now check out his set of visuals for "What Would I Do" and get ready for the drop of Something to Speak About!
Bonus: Clyde will be performing in San Jose this weekend with Big Sean, R.O.D, Bobby Brackins and Charlie Sheen. Okay, not Charlie Sheen, but check it out!
