38th Special: The Bay Abridged Mixtape: July

Just as every month is these days, July proved to be a fruitful month for Bay Area hip-hop and R&B. And yes, I know, July was a minute ago, but it's taken us a while to pare down the best songs of the month and have them mixed by DJ Aebl Dee. Here at last however, are the latest and greatest cuts from July in the Bay Area.

As we explained last month, the goal of The Bay Abridged monthly mixtapes is to present a polished product to the Bay and abroad in the hopes of introducing people to the post-hyphy boom of music happening here. So let your folks know that the latest batch of local dope has arrived, and turn the volume knob to the max! Whether your a music geek or a newbie, there are a gang of amazing cuts on this tape that you probably haven't heard.
