Youth UpRising is presenting a big Saturday extravaganza in conjunction with the Mayor and the Oakland Police this Saturday at Verdese Carter (Sunnyside) Park on 98th Ave & Bancroft. Come out for free food, fun, employment opportunities, and entertainment provided by the likes of Too $hort, Mistah FAB, Erk Tha Jerk and DoDAT. The F.A.S.T. (For A Safe Town) community event was created as a collaborative effort to promote both peace and togetherness, strategically placing public safety within the broader context of community transformation.
