The singer/songwriter, who has worked with Raphael Saadiq and George Clinton, uses this track to explain his approach and his motivation for creating music. The smooth, two-step worthy groove, which includes scratches from DJ Toure, is a sample the style Jaymes has dubbed "Ghetto Retro."
