Watch Out For Willie Joe's "Fresh Prince"

Be on the look out for Willie Joe's forthcoming mixtape The Fresh Prince, dropping next month. Also, word is that Willie, Traxamillion and Erk tha Jerk are 10 songs into their FNM collabo album. I am personally juiced for that. I think the three of them together could be The Bay's next best chance to make some waves–And this time for something dope and respectable.

Willie Joe's Top 5 Influences & "Giggin"

Check out Willie Joe's top 5 influences along with a couple of honorable mentions. There are defintely some surprises in there so check it out. Then listen to this new slap he did with Mr. Traxamillion called "Giggin." I like it a lot. You might too.

Traxamillion & Clyde Carson: "In Her Ear"

We've posted a few Clyde Carson songs lately, but this one is definitely my favorite as it combines his gift for making both "cruising" and "girl" records. Granted Clyde isn't the most romantic cat, but his shtick has worked for him, particularly over crack ass beats like this one from Trax. I predict that this summer you may cruise the lake to this one.

Erk Tha Jerk & Traxamillion: "I Get It In"

This is another one I've had for a minute thanks to TheBayisBack, so I apologize for the delay in passing it along to you. Erk is one of the "new" cats in the Bay that I'm juiced about. Dude is smart, has his own sound and bars for days. It goes without saying that Trax can produce a track. Peep game.

Assorted Slaps: Some Go, Some No

As much as it pains me to slap exhausted swagger obsessed spaceship tracks, I kinda like a few of these. Don't judge me!!! LOL. On the real, I'm waiting for the next generation to develop and take the Bay's music scene in a new direction, but in the mean time the OGs will have to suffice. Again, I have the utmost respect for these dudes, but I think we need to infuse our sound and scene with some fresh blood. I do think Trax can be part of that bridge from the old to the new though. That is all

These lightweight Go:

"NASA Music"- E-40, Method Man, DJ Swamp

"Smoke One"- Guce, Mitchy Slick, Gucci Mane, Messy Marv & Keak

"She Love Me"- Traxamillion

"Final Round"- Traxamillion feat. Keri Hilson

"And I'm whippin that shit/ 2 girls 1 cup, spittin that shit."

Who knew Trax could spit? I mean dude makes slaps for days, but I didn't know he had a slick mouthpiece on him. "Final Round" features crescendoing synthed choir "aahs" and horns that make it sound lightweight epic. Add a Keri Hilson hook and Trax's slow but strong delivery of surprisingly on point lyrics, and you got a certified banger.

New Traxamillion: "808s" Minus the Heartbreak

Bay beat making extraordinaire Traxamillion just dropped a new joint he's eager for yall to hear. As Trax himself says "This is not for computer speakers, this is whip music." Act accordingly. When I'm home over break I'm banking on hearing license plates rattle to this. (whoomp. whoomp. whoomp whoomp) Town ish
