Did you miss the premier of In Performance at The White House: The Motown Sound? You know that Motown celebration hosted by Jamie Foxx that included performances from John Legend, Sheryl Crow, and GLEE's Amber Riley. Well, the event was taped last week and made its way to television last night and now you can watch the whole thing online.
But what we've got for you, right here, right now, are videos of Oakland's own Ledisi. The Grammy nominated songstress performed "My Guy" by Mary Wells and a rendition of "Stop! In the Name of Love," with Natasha Bedingfield and Jordin Sparks. In addition to performing at the White House, she got to sit down and talk with the legendary Smokey Robinson. Not too shabby for an Oakland girl.
