"Reach the Top" is somewhat of a memoir. A little bit about the life of Erk now and a bit about how he came up. Same things can be said about the new visual. Flexing his directing skills again (peep London's "ACTION" for a reminder), Erk teamed up with Clay & Magz Films to provide a peek into his life. From chilling on the porch with his Red Planet squad to photos of his parents and children, it's a video that manages to be personal without over sharing, much like the music on Nerd's Eye View.
The track features J. Myers on the hook talking about the continuous grind and reaching the top. With the news that Erk is dropping a new mixtape in March and "Ha Ha" hitting MTV Jams (oh and the fact he's steady grinding something meant for papers during the porch scene) it's clear that it's not just talk.
