Video: Willie Joe: "FOCUS"

August 24, 2010 Willie Joe is dropping "FOCUS." He's dropped a few songs and blogs leading up to the release. Heavy with the viral campaign, he's been releasing something new each week to get the streets a buzz. He's has also been ripping the stage with his amazing energy.

Weeks ago 38th Notes got to see him at the Rhyme & Reason event at the Shattuck Downlow. Hosted by Nio The Gift in association with Socially Flyy, the event showcased a number of MCs who were serious about their craft. Willie Joe took the time between songs to explain his story of being from the Bay, getting record deals, things falling apart, and his determination to stay focused through it all.
