Event: A Special Night: Fundraiser 4 Kids with Sickle Cell

In today's world it's quite easy to get wrapped up in your day-to-day. Tonight at The New Parish (579 18th Street, Oakland), you'll have the chance to take a break, party with cool people, and give back to the community by helping kids with Sickle Cell attend camp.

"A Special Night," is the brainchild of Jareem Gunter (Monday Soul, Forever, The Living Room) and is hosted by Prentice Powell (Hotwater Cornbread). The event features a date auction (to see the guys before hand check the event section here), and performances by Netta B., R.O.D., and London. Once the bidding is over and R&B's rising stars have graced the stage, DJ Scotty Fox is turning the spot in to a full out party. Grab your tickets at http://specialnight.eventbrite.com/. Doors open at 9pm.
