Valentine's Day is the major focus of most events this weekend. But "My BOM Valentine," is a bit different. Sponsored by BOM411 day's activities do stick with the theme of love, by they are also trying to spread awareness about Teen Dating Violence and Prevention.
Saturday afternoon swing by DeFremery Park in West Oakland (Adeline between 16th and 18th streets) to hear DJ Aebl Dee on spin and catch performances from R.O.D., Moe Money, and more. There will also be a skateboarding contest with some prize money attached.
Go out and support this great organization as they give voice to a very important issue. February 13, 2010 from noon-4pm.
