New Music & Video: Richie Rich: "Town Bidness"

If you know much about 38thnotes then you know that we are big fans of legendary Oakland MC Richie Rich. Although the Double R has cemented his Town legacy, he has been visibly absent in recent years. Well consider his new mixtape Town Bidness his re-introduction to the local scene. With his grimy street voice, Richie has formed an above par mixtape that features Snoop Dogg, B-Legit, and Erk Tha Jerk. Rich is planning the release of another mixtape very soon, so digest this one, and be prepared for more soon.

Bonus: Check out this video of Richie Rich in the studio with the legendary 2pac, developing a song together and kickin some freestyles.  Besides the dope rhymes, its cool to see two artists sitting down, listening to the beat, and crafting a great song. The new style is to not write your lyrics and craft the song in your head, but for us writers, it's great to see our medium in action. When the pens and pads are put away, the other OGs freestyling with Pac and Rich are Warren G and Big Syke.
