Oakland's Soul Brother #1 will be be gracing his native Town with an epic concert at the storied Fox Theater tonight, 11/18. I have yet to see the "Baghdadian revivalist" venue since it's renovation, so that alone will be amazing. The fact that Mr. Raphael Saadiq will be gracing the stage in a fly candy apple suit with a dope band to match, takes it to a whole other level. I'm juiced to see his cover of Sly & The Family Stone's "Underdog" and hoping he has a few hometown tricks up his sleeve as well!Watch him performing "Staying in Love" on The Today Show a few weeks ago below.
