Oakland's new Commis restaurant has received the most coveted stamp of approval in the culinary field, a Michelin star. Commis is the only eatery in Oakland to receive such a nod, putting it at the top of my list of places to check out. Bonus points to Chef & Owner James Syhanbout for being an Oakland Tech Alum. Bulldog Ish!
