Eco Justice for East Oakland Tonight!

If you're looking for a positive event to hit up today I would highly suggest that you check out Eco Justice For East Oakland. The event is being held at Youth Uprising, which is next to Castlemont High School, from 6:30-8:30pm tonight. Not only is this event trying to raise environmental awareness in East Oakland, it is also trying to bring together Black and Brown folks for a common cause. There will be speakers, organizations who focus on Green living, performers, and food.

An added bonus for coming will be that you get to hear 38thnotes' very own Coolhand Luke perform a couple poems, one of which is available below. If you live in East Oakland, or if you want to know about ways to live a more green life, then I suggest you attend. Tre Eightman will be hosting and 38thnotes will be well represented so we hope to see you there.
