I've never heard of Rick Flare and I'm a die hard Oaklander, but this ode to Frisco is nice, smooth and refreshing. Flare offers true-to-life lyrics, Jay Anthony offers a subtle catchy hook and TD Camps flips a super-soulful beat, but it's Tony Rains' video that kills the game. No bullshit, this is the dopest vid I've seen in quite awhile.
Watching Rick's clean ass Caddie against the Sco's sweeping city scapes reminds me of The Bay's beauty, the fresh grafitti showcases our artistic talent, and the B-roll projections against Frisco's old buildings is visually stunning. In short, his use of the urban terrain as a multi-media canvas is both beautiful and inspiring. 2 thumbs up!
