In Remembrance: Fresh Decks from DGK

Stevie Williams' DGK brand just came out with a collection of skate decks to memorialize some of the Rap greats who have passed. Eazy is reppin LA, Biggie & Pun are holding down NY, and Pac has The Town on lock. The thing I'm most juiced about though is that the mutha fuckin Mac D-R-E is getting his just deserts. It also means that the chronically underdog Bay Area is as represented as New York.
Mac Dre may not have been as big nationally as he was locally or posthumously, but the impact he had on Bay Area culture is indelible. He was a free spirit who reveled in his unique showmanship, yet was also dedicated to his community enough to do time for his folks. He will forever by synonymous with unadulterated individuality and fun, so skate decks and Thizz-o-lanterns seem apt locations for his likeness.
