Given that the last post took us back to the Bay's infamous old school, I figured it couldn't hurt to kick it there for a minute or two more. This video has early 90s written all over it, but the song itself is still eerily relevant. Ant Banks speaks on the struggles of Oakland life while also droppin' some wise words for those doing wrong. Remember that this chapter of Oakland's history was even darker than the present, as 1992 saw 165 murders and 1993 witnessed 154. We have been down and out before, but there is always a way back.
