Chris Rock & Wanda Sykes on Gay Marriage

Sometimes a little stand-up can help give us some perspective on things. Chris Rock, Wanda Sykes and Louis CK all make some poignant points that are hilarious and also extremely true. Some get bogged down in the Right's rambling about what is and isn't sacred and wholesome, but as Chris Rock says (and I noted previously) there is nothing sacred about marriage in America.

Watch these videos and comment. They all frame the issue in different ways, but one creedo is consistent; Stop trippin off things that don't threaten you. I would however note, that gay marriage does affect us all because the issue is one of basic human rights. Maybe the next culture war will implicate you and your lifestyle, and no one will stand up for you then because you were close minded and cowardly now. Thanks for reading, now go laugh and think
