"America surprised us, and let a black man guide us" (c) NaS. Barack Obama is the next President of the United States of America

Above: The 44th President of the United States of America, Barack Hussein Obama, delivers his victory speech in Chicago. He offered an epic speech fitting of the historic occasion, thanking us for his victory and challenging us to soldier on. We have come along way, but this is only our chance to change the country and the world- this is not itself the victory.

Below: The nation celebrates the triumph of hope over fear.

BUT CALI WHAT HAPPENED?? I MEAN WE KNOW THE COAST GAVE PROP 8 THE AX, BUT AS A STATE WE REALLY PASSED THAT?? I THOUGHT WE WERE IN FAKE AMERICA- YOU KNOW THE BASTION OF LIBERALISM, LOVE, SODOMY AND UNDERSTANDING. I'M PROUD TO BE AN AMERICAN AND EMBARRASSED TO BE A CALIFORNIAN FOR THE FIRST (and probably only) TIME IN MY LIFE. NO LIE
