Mick Boogie's The Honor Roll Tribute Album

"Every year, the biggest hip-hop fans across the globe look forward to one event as the highlight of their year: VH1’s Hip-Hop Honors. Legends are honored, songs are performed, and memories are made that last a lifetime. This year’s honorees include Slick Rick, Too Short, De La Soul, Cypress Hill and Naughty By Nature. However, for the first time, celebrity deejay and mixtape legend Mick Boogie has taken the Hip-Hop Honors concept to a whole new level. Enlisting a crew of producers to recreate the legend’s top hits in a modern form, Mick has gotten a who’s who of Hip-Hop’s new school to honor their idols with updated, re-conceptualized tracks. New school stars such as Freeway, Little Brother, Kidz In The Hall, Evidence of Dilated Peoples, Alchemist, Mistah FAB, Talib Kweli and more have donated their time and rhyme toward making sure today’s generations don’t forget to learn and appreciate their hip-hop history. Adding even more flavor to the project is legendary emcee and popular VH1 personality MC Serch, providing essential narration to this historical project. With no further delay, we present to you… Mick Boogie : The Honor Roll."

Sounds like a great fusion of past and present for the kiddies. Let me take a wild stab in the dark and guess that Fab is remixing a $hort joint lol. Naw but fereal, this looks like an interesting project.
