Third Voice is Marcell William (pictured left), Ryah Nikole, and Chastity Eshe. They aren't a music group per se, but they are a team of vocalists who are serious about their art. I got a chance to see them live at Monday Soul and thoroughly enjoyed watching them rock the stage. Performing a mix of original songs and covers, the squad seamlessly rotated between artists making sure everyone's talents were showcased.
Their remix of Lil Wayne's "Single," catches you a bit off guard, but it works remarkably well. The beat has always been slow and oozing, and with Marcel, Ryah and Chastity dipping and leaning over it with their original lyrics and expert phrasing, it takes on new life. There's the guy's perspective and the woman's perspective. There are verses for those sippin' on somethin' and a verse for folks who aren't but are "on anyway." Stay tuned for the Third Voice Mixtape. I have a feeling it's gonna be fire.

The melody/beat sound like a modified sample of "Take Away" by Missy.
