38th Special: The Bay Abridged Mixtape: September

As is our tradition, mid-month we release an exclusive mix of the best hip-hop and R&B the Bay Area has to offer from the previous month. September was no different, as 38thNotes curated an eclectic collection of local music for your listening pleasure. Mixed by The Honor Roll's DJ Tap-10, this month's Bay Abridged starts with a selection from Young Gully's incendiary Oscar Grant tribute tape, before dipping and diving through a dope amalgam of smooth slaps, d-boy aspiration, indie techno-hop and R&Bay. If you want a great mix of local music with a lot of range, indulge in what we here at 38thNotes have been enjoying all month.

Shout out to Daghe + Digital for the cover design
