Be sure to come out to the Oakland Museum tonight at some point from 5p-Midnight to enjoi a wide variety of bands performing everything from punk to hip-hop. The major draws are Goapele and Souls of Mischief, but you'll be selling yourself short if you just show for the big names.
I am personally most juiced to check out Dizzy Balloon, an Oakland rock outfit obsessed with making the perfect pop record. Based on what I've heard from them so far, they just might find the winning formula.
