38th Notes Love: Grind Time Battles

Although we give a lot of love to the more well known rappers in the Town, we also like to put people up on new artists and organizations. Grind Time has been putting in work for awhile now and always manages to cure my boredom on the late night. Grind Time puts on rap battles all over the nation, with the Bay being one of the biggest and best divisions. The big homies from the the Del Mon crew (Delinquent Monastery) host the Bay Area battles, but always let it be known that they're Town savages all day.

Battle of the Bay 5, which is one of biggest events for Grind Time, is coming up on Sept 4th & 5th at the Oakland Metro. They bring together a bunch of Bay Area rappers and visiting emcees from other divisions for tqo days of pure battling. It should be entertaining and I encourage you all to check out at least one day. Here is the link for the details.

The battle below is from an event in Florida called Grizzlemania, and it features Jee Polo vs. Deep East Oakland's very own F.L.O. This is not a great battle, but there are a lot of Oakland references in it and F.L.O. kills him in the overtime verse, holding it down for the Vill and the Panthers with raw anger.
