The Parkway Theater to get assistance from the Oakland Redevelopment Agency

Zennie62 recently wrote a piece over at City Brights about the possibility of the Oakland Redevelopment Agency entering the fray over the Parkway. It would definitely be great to keep the theater open, yet I can't imagine the ORA's pockets are too fat given these times. If anything though, I think the attention the Parkway has received in the wake of its closing will ensure it is patronized a lot more if it ever reopens.
